WE

Arbolar is an Active Tourism company located in Cartagena (Murcia – Spain) with a successful trajectory of more than 25 years. Its operation centre is the Residence and Active Tourism Centre, Arbolar, placed in Los Urrutias, on the beach front of Mar Menor.

Arbolar is a company devoted to the realization of camps and programs of activities for children and youths. Formed in 2003 (despite as an association, its activity dates back many years before), Arbolar has been performing continuously a great deal of spare time activities aimed at children and young people.

We are specialized in tourism involving big groups, families, students, etc. and furthermore, we organize a great number of Camp programs, School Trips, Holidays, Sporting Campus, etc.

Its two founding members – Andrés Martínez Soto and Jose Manuel Galindo Carbonell – are totally involved in the company and its day-to-day, as well as they manage Arbolar’s programs and activities.

In our Nautical Activity Centre, our customers can practice Dinghy Sailing, Windsurf, Paddle Surf and Canoeing.

Arbolar’s directive is represented in the governing bodies of the Mar Menor Marine Resort and takes part directly in the promotion of cultural tourism in the Mar Menor area. We count on the best references in the field of Youth Camps, and we will be delighted if you ask for our reviews in any of the entities with which we have cooperated.

We offer all those services required to make our program as complete, comfortable and entertaining as possible: accommodation and maintenance, teachers, program of activities, movement, etc.

QUALIFIED STAFF

As members of ARBOLAR, we are aware of the fact that having a qualified staff is one of the most important requirements to ensure our success. Moreover, we guarantee that those in contact with youths should have to count on the best technical training, as well they should have an impeccable personal conduct.

For this reason, our staff is carefully selected and trained by ourselves, in order to know them personally. Most of our staff members’ profile is:

They should have – at least – the degree of “Free-Time and Sociocultural worker”

Most of our instructors are trained in our own entertainment school (ARBOLAR is recognized as Free-Time, Sociocultural entertainment School by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia with the number 25), and thanks to this, we are able to know them from the very beginning of their training. This degree is complemented with other specific, on the basis of the activity performed in this program (we have sailing instructors, graduates in Physical Education, music teachers, graduates in psychology, sociocultural workers, canoeing and wind-surf instructors, etc.).

Practice Course.

Our future teachers develop a practice course with us, under the tutelage of an instructor with extensive experience. Once that these practices are over, they are evaluated in order to check if they fulfil the profile required to work with ARBOLAR.

Appropriate technical expertise.

We are developing continuously new programs to keep our teachers up to date, especially concerning the latest techniques in the specific activities that are developed in our camps and programs.

We know our instructors.

We ensure that we know personally our staff and their personal and professional background. Actually, most of them are young men and women that have attended to our camps and activities for many years.

Negative attestation of criminal record.

All our instructors provide us with the negative attestation of criminal record with the main objective of checking their impeccable personal behaviour.

Code of ethics and business conduct.

All our members deal with a strict code of ethics and business conduct, especially focused on the treatment applied to the youths attending our programs.

Labour supervised by coordinators.

Finally, it is worth to mention that our labour is continuously supervised by experienced coordinators of cultural activities, in order to keep the perfect development of our programmes.
