Dinghy Sailing course.

On this course, you will learn to handle sailing boats.
You will have the chance to steer your own boat and take them on trips around the Mar Menor.
The course lasts for about 40 hours(it´s mainly practical) and we´ll teach you the following:
› Parts of the boat and its masts and spars.
› Sailing in different types of winds (windward, down wind, alongside etc…)
› Tacking and gibing.
› Entering channels and rivers.
› Using spinnakers etc ...

Canoeing Course.

We will show you how to manage a canoe and to use it for taking part in great games.
The course lasts for about 10 hours.

Seafaring Workshop.

In this workshop you will learn a number of things which are invaluable in your marine training.

Among other things, we will talk about:
› First aid and safety at sea.
› Using nautical charts and compasses
› Sailing knots.
› Positioning at sea, etc …

Excursions.

During the time at the camp, we have two excursions organised :

1.To Cartagena

A historic Mediterranean city where you will be able to find out more about its historical and naval legacy (Isaac Peral´s submarine, the Arsenal, the submarine base, submarine archaeology museum, etc…) we have lunch in a lovely park which boasts swimming pools and all you need for a relaxing day out.

Extra Activities
